Today: The List
1. Okay this was at about 1am so it was technically today right? I found this long lost, unsent letter to one of my close friends I’m not really close to anymore. I really missed herrrr and I hope she’s doing well and we had a brief conversation early in the morning.
2. I woke up at 5am to a very grumpy mother. She used my bathroom then nagged me when she got out because I hadn’t gotten up yet. E how could’ve I taken a bath when she was in my bathroom? Then we laughed about it after.:))
3. I got to visit Ms. Flor before heading out! We got to Ateneo at exactly 6am and it was still dark. The sun rose while we were there. Although it was nowhere near the solemnity and meaningfulness of the AA Community service I missed, I’m so glad I was able to visit her and say my good-byes. And I got to hug my dear Viancci who’s been so strong and who even comforted me. Still praying for Ms. Flor and Ate Via and Viancci and the whole family.
4. I miss Ms. Flor. I miss AA. I miss the home-y warm feeling of high school. I miss the familiar faces of schoolmates, teachers, manongs and manangs, and bus drivers. I miss my batch, my classmates, my busmates, and friends. Today I realized that I also terribly miss singing with Komu. I felt sad I wasn’t able to sing All for Jesus and Psalm 4 for Ms. Flor with them today. Both songs have been playing non-stop in my mind for the past two days and I’m sure Ms. Flor heard me!
5. We got the airport extremely early. As in 3 hours before our flight. :| So much for waking up early and leaving the wake early. Ninong and I had this funny argument about where our check-in counters were going to be (he won bv) and when we got through everything, we settled down in Seatle’s Best Coffee. I drank my favorite White Chocolate Mocha and fell asleep. It was so funny because I felt like my sleepiness was fighting with the caffeine and the sleepiness won.
6. The 3.5 hour flight to SG didn’t seem so bad. Maybe it’s because I was playing fifa non-stop while mom was watching Princess and the Frog on my laptop.
7. Cloudy SG is cloudy. It drizzled every now and then but the raindrops were so light and far in between that it didn’t feel like rain at all!
8. Hotel is crazy there is no wifi/free internet (I’m paying for this right now) and YMCA (where we stayed last time and which is so much cheaper) had free wifi and free buffet breakfast. I miss YMCA.
9. Ion Orchard for late late late lunch (4pm). I ate hainanese chicken rice oh what a surprise. But I made up my mind to be more adventurous this time!!!
10. Hotel time because I had to do something heheheheheh. Parents fell asleep and I was left with dear Fifa.
11. Ion again for a bit of shopping and dinner (I only had very very very happy lemon, you will know why)
12. My parents went back to the hotel and I was left to shop on my own!!!
13. When the malls closed, I went out on the street to take pictures. Pretty Orchard road is pretty.
14. Here I am typing away. I really needed the net to do my project thing with my lovely blockmates (who I terribly miss) but it’s more economical and sulit to use the net for an hour than like 30 mins so hi tumblr.
15. And bye tumblr my one hour is up.
